Whilst changes to COVID restrictions in Wales has changed, the wearing of face masks in Health Care settings has not.
We kindly ask that all patients attending an appointment at the surgery continue to wear a face mask until you have left the premises. If you have forgotten yours please ask the staff who will be happy to provide them for you. We do appreciate that some patients will have a valid reason for not wearing a mask, however, we ask that if this applies to you, once you have reported to the reception desk that you wait in your car or outside until the GP, nurse, healthcare assistant or receptionists come to collect you.
We will still have to restrict the numbers of patients able to wait in the waiting room.
We ask that you comply with instructions given by the receptionists as they are intended to protect you and others.
The Practice has a zero tolerance approach to rude or aggressive behaviour directed towards its staff and request that all patients and visitors treat staff in a manner that they would wish to be treated themselves.
CHANGES TO CERVICAL SCREENING
On the 1st January 2022, Cervical Screening Wales extended the interval between routine cervical screening (smear) tests for people aged 25 - 49 from three to five years.
