Patients are advised that General Practitioners are entitled to charge for non NHS services. Private work is completed outside of NHS time.
Private work is only completed by the GP Partners.
Medical examinations for special purposes, e.g. elderly drivers, pre-employment, fitness for certain sports, HGV, taxi medicals etc are performed outside consultating hours.
If you require any travel cancellation forms, travelling consent letters/forms, housing letters, Occupational Health questionnaires or simple letters/certificates these are not covered by NHS fees and a fee will therefore be charged at the recommended BMA rate.

Payment - Cash payment is required at the point of the request. Work will not commence until payment is received.

Query regarding work in progress
We aim to complete private work requests within 28 days of payment and request being received. We will contact the requestor once the work is completed and ready for collection.
