Please be aware that "on the day appointments" remain strictly for acute medical conditions that cannot wait.  All other appointments will be booked up to two weeks in advance.  Dr Jones would like you to know that our staff have been trained to book the most appropriate appointment for you.

Due to high levels of call volumes we may take a little longer to answer your telephone call. Alternatively, please use eConsult below.  We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

We do not accept prescription requests over the telephone.  There are several ways for you to obtain your repeat medication. You can contact your local pharmacy who can arrange to order your medication on your behalf.  Alternatively you can either email your request to prescription.w97028@wales.nhs.uk or register to use My Health Online  For further information on Prescriptions follow the link

Test Results

Our reception staff have been trained to give results under the guidance of the doctors.

When you attend for a test of any kind you will be told how long you should expect to wait for the results. For blood test results this will usually be 7 days. Please bear this in mind and call the surgery once sufficient time has elapsed. 

It is your responsibility to contact us for your results and make any necessary follow-up appointment with the doctor or nurse.

Please note that we do have a strict policy regarding confidentiality and data protection. In this respect we will only give out results to the person they relate to unless that person has given prior permission for their release or if they are not capable of understanding them.

IMPORTANT - INR PATIENTS

We occasionally have difficulty contacting patients with their INR result.

If you do not have a phone call from the practice, please ensure that you contact us for the result between 1pm - 5.30pm on the day following you blood test.
